Kichler Lighting
Toledo Design Services collaborated with Kichler Lighting over multiple years to develop collections of home lighting from initial concept through production. Drawing from their backgrounds in industrial and furniture design, they conducted trend research, developed design directions, and translated ideas into fully realized products through sketching, 3D modeling, prototyping, and product development. Their work balanced form, manufacturability, and market positioning, helping bring a range of lighting designs from early ideation to retail-ready collections. They are especially proud to see the Kenton collection they helped develop finally come to market in the spring of 2026.

Development
Over the course of their collaboration with Kichler Lighting, Toledo Design Services developed and 3D modeled a wide range of lighting concepts spanning contemporary, industrial, deco-inspired, and transitional styles. Their work included sconces, chandeliers, flush mounts, pendants, vanity lighting, and modular systems—each developed through an iterative process of sketching, digital modeling, proportion studies, and production refinement. Moving fluidly between decorative and architectural lighting languages, they explored everything from minimal geometric forms to more sculptural and historically informed collections, helping transform broad conceptual directions into manufacturable products ready for market.
