For the Works Cited LA Box Show, we designed a custom jewelry box around Toledo’s Hi Beam Ring, treating the packaging as an extension of the object itself rather than a separate container. The box mirrors the ring’s rounded, aerodynamic geometry in polished metal, creating the feeling that the jewelry has expanded outward into architecture. When opened, the box illuminates from within, turning the act of presentation into a small cinematic moment. The result is packaging that behaves like the jewelry it holds: sculptural, theatrical, and engineered as a complete experience.
